Kanessa Fain

Kanessa Fain (she/her) began organized sports when she was 10 yrs old, when her three brothers got to play league football, but she couldn’t. So, she became a cheerleader instead, for many many years! Kanessa can be found playing flag football or kickball, but is always cheering on the sidelines for her teammates. And now… she's excited to start dodgeball!

Kanessa is an educator and has worked for DeKalb County Schools for 22 years. She has 2 daughters who encourage her everyday to keep playing sports to stay young ❤️.

Kanessa strives to ensure equity and innovation every day with the teachers , staff, and students for her school district and she will continue to fight for a welcoming and all inclusive organization for dodgeball and other sports she’s involved with.
